Your tasks in the plant fire department

Secure and protect

As an employee of the plant fire department, you are jointly responsible for preventive and defensive fire protection. During your 24-hour shift, you will work closely with your 11 colleagues and other professional groups. For example, when you drive the anesthesia team to the scene, monitor the landing of a rescue helicopter or carry out sprinkler tests. In the company's own operations center, you take emergency calls and monitor one of the largest fire alarm systems in Germany. You will handle any emergencies that arise independently. In the event of a major incident, you will be supported by the Cologne fire department.
