You will prepare nutrient solutions and grow cell cultures. You will also identify microorganisms and document the measurement data. You will prepare tests on microorganisms and cell cultures, monitor the test procedures and evaluate the results. You will be involved in real research projects during your training.

Application for training as a biology laboratory technician
You have a high school diploma, university entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification with good to very good grades in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. You are motivated and enjoy taking on responsibility. Teamwork is your thing and you are actively involved in joint projects. You also have a very good command of German. Experience from an internship is a plus.

Theory and practice alternate. Your theoretical training will take place at theKartäuserwall vocational college. The focus is on laboratory technology, biochemical analysis and diagnostics, biotechnology, drug testing and economics.
