PFA training as further training with funding?
Your tasks as a nursing assistant
You are an important part of the team
For example, you will support patients in need of care with their personal hygiene or help them to move around. You will also be responsible for preparing, carrying out and following up on measures that have been arranged, such as blood sugar checks or changing dressings.
These are the requirements
Application for nursing assistant training
You have a secondary school leaving certificate and very good German language skills (at least B2). You are empathetic and act responsibly. However, if you don't have a secondary school leaving certificate but your heart beats for nursing, then apply anyway. We'll see if we can find a solution together. Experience from an internship in nursing is a plus.
Frequently asked questions / FAQ
Theoretical and practical blocks alternate. The theoretical part takes place at our school for nursing professions. Here, for example, you will learn about nursing techniques and gain insights into the prevention of illnesses. The curriculum also includes supporting patients in the last phase of their lives and the legal framework for nursing care.
After your training, you can work with us as a nursing assistant on all nursing wards. And you will qualify for various areas of nursing assistance with us. For example, for intensive, general and pediatric nursing. Following the one-year training course, you have the option of completing the 3-year nursing assistant training course (shortened to 2 years if possible).
You are welcome to apply using the online form, which you can find under all current vacancies for apprenticeships. Unfortunately, we cannot consider e-mail applications. You can find out more about the application process, for example which documents we need from you, here.
This gives you the opportunity to receive compensation between your last salary and your training salary. This is because the School for Nursing Professions is AZAV-certified and you can therefore receive funding from the Federal Employment Agency.
